UrduPad is an application that allows users to record Urdu language meetings, podcasts, conversations, and discussions and generate notes, key points, transcripts, or summaries from recorded audio.

Information We Process

Depending on the features used, UrduPad may process:

  • Microphone recordings
  • Audio files selected by the user
  • Spoken words contained in recordings
  • Transcriptions generated from recordings
  • Notes, summaries, and key points generated from audio
  • File names and related technical information
  • Basic app diagnostic information

Audio recordings can contain personal or confidential information. Users should therefore only record conversations when they have the necessary permission to do so.

Microphone Permission

UrduPad requests microphone access only when required to record audio. The app does not intentionally activate recording without a user-initiated recording action.

Speech Recognition and AI Processing

To provide transcription, summarization, note generation, or other AI-assisted features, audio or text may be securely transmitted to third-party speech-recognition, AI, or cloud-processing services.

Information transmitted to these services is used to provide the functionality requested by the user and related technical processing.

Recording Other People

Privacy and recording laws differ between jurisdictions. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required before recording meetings, calls, podcasts, discussions, or other individuals.

Storage and Retention

Recordings, transcripts, and notes may be stored locally on the user’s device and/or on cloud systems where required to provide synchronization or processing features.

Temporary server-side files are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for processing, service operation, security, and applicable legal requirements.

Sharing

We do not sell users’ recordings, transcripts, or generated notes. Information may be processed by service providers necessary to provide speech recognition, AI processing, hosting, analytics, or technical support.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect recordings and generated content.
