ReplaceBG allows users to select an image, automatically detect or separate its background, and replace that background with another image, color or design.

The app may access:

  • Images selected by the user
  • Camera access when the user chooses to capture a photo

  • Temporary image-processing information
  • Basic diagnostic information used to maintain app performance

How Information Is Used

User provided images are processed only to identify, remove, modify, or replace backgrounds and provide related editing features.

If ReplaceBG uses cloud based or third-party image-processing technology, selected images may be securely transmitted to the relevant processing provider to complete the user’s request.

We do not sell users’ photos or use uploaded images for unrelated advertising or identity profiling.

Storage and Retention

Final images are saved only when requested by the user. Temporary files required to perform image processing are retained only for the period reasonably necessary to complete the operation and maintain the service.

Permissions

The app may request camera and photo/media permissions. Access is used only when required for image selection, capture, editing, or saving.

Third-Party Services
