We respect the privacy of users of FaceSwap. FaceSwap allows users to provide images, automatically detect faces, and replace a detected face with another face supplied by the user.

Images and Facial Data

To provide this functionality, the app may process:

  • Source photographs selected by the user
  • Replacement-face photographs selected by the user
  • Facial regions and facial features detected within the photographs
  • Camera content when the camera feature is used
  • Temporary files generated during image processing

Facial processing is performed to provide the face-swapping feature requested by the user. FaceSwap is not intended to identify a person, authenticate identity, or create biometric identity profiles.

How Images Are Processed

Depending on the technology used by the app, images may be processed on the device or transmitted securely to a cloud-based image-processing or AI service. Images transmitted for processing are used to provide the requested FaceSwap functionality and related technical services. We do not sell user photographs or facial information.

Your Responsibility

You should only upload or process photographs that you have the right or permission to use. Users are responsible for using FaceSwap lawfully and respecting the privacy and rights of other individuals.

Retention

Images and temporary processing information are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to complete the requested operation unless the user specifically chooses to save content.

Permissions

FaceSwap may request camera and photo/media permissions to select, capture, process, and save images.

Service Providers

We may use third-party AI, cloud, hosting, analytics, or crash-reporting providers. These providers may process limited information as necessary to perform services on our behalf.

Security

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect transmitted and processed information.
