Purpose of Processing

Information entered into PakQR is used to generate the QR code requested by the user. PakQR itself is a QR generation utility. Generating or scanning a payment QR code does not by itself mean that PakQR processes, authorizes, transfers, or completes a financial transaction.

Actual payments are handled by the relevant bank, financial institution, payment application, or payment-service provider.

Bank Credentials

Users should never enter passwords, PINs, OTPs, card security codes, online-banking credentials, or other authentication secrets into PakQR unless a specific secure feature explicitly requires and explains such information.

PakQR is not intended to collect online-banking passwords or authentication credentials.

Storage

QR information may be processed or stored locally on the device where technically required to generate, save, or manage QR codes.

If cloud-based features are provided, relevant information may be transmitted securely to the service provider necessary to operate those features.

Sharing QR Codes

When users save, export, display, or share a QR code, information encoded inside it may become accessible to anyone who receives or scans that QR code.

Users are responsible for deciding where and with whom they share generated QR codes.

Financial Disclaimer

PakQR does not guarantee the accuracy of information manually entered by users or the successful completion of payments by third-party financial institutions.

Users should verify account details and payment information before sharing or using a generated QR code.

Data Sharing

We do not sell bank-account or payment information entered by users. Information may be processed by technical service providers only where necessary to provide app functionality, security, analytics, or infrastructure.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information processed through PakQR. However, users should treat generated payment QR codes as potentially sensitive and share them carefully.
