FaceBlur allows users to select or capture images and automatically detect faces so that all faces or selected faces can be blurred.

To provide these features, FaceBlur may access:

  • Photos or images selected by the user
  • Camera access, if the user chooses to capture a new image
  • Detected facial regions within an image
  • Basic device or diagnostic information where required for app performance and crash reporting

FaceBlur does not use facial images to identify individuals, create identity profiles, or perform biometric authentication.

How We Use Information

Images and detected facial information are used only to provide the requested face-detection and face-blurring functionality.

Where processing is performed through a third-party or cloud-based processing service, the selected image may be securely transmitted to that service solely to complete the requested operation.

We do not sell users’ photos, facial information, or personal information.

Storage and Retention

Processed images may be saved to the user’s device when the user chooses to save them. Temporary processing files are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested functionality and are then deleted according to our technical and operational requirements.

Permissions
